This course has been approved by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce for 3 hours of real Estate Continuing Education
 
Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing helps real estate professionals interrupt stereotypical thinking so they can avoid fair housing pitfalls and provide equal professional service to every customer or client. Participants will examine the history of bias in real estate, learn about the mind science of identity, study how implicit bias can result in fair housing violations, and engage in interactive exercises to enhance communication skills and business relationships with clients of all backgrounds.
 
**Please note:  This class will be offered IN-PERSON. Materials will be sent to you via email 24-hours prior to the class. If you register and are unable to attend, we would appreciate it if you would let us know 48 hours in advance of the class, this way we have an opportunity to allow another student to attend since class size is limited.
 
Note: Prepare to be on time as the DOC rules require that you cannot miss  ANY of each class or NO CE can be given.
 
 
The cost of the course has been discounted in honor of Fair Housing month and includes 3.0 hours of CE, Snacks and beverages and Minnesota Realtors will cover the cost of the $10 Center for Realtor Development royalty fee.
