This course satisfies a requirement on the GRI Designation checklist. This class will explore contracts and forms related to the Minnesota residential real estate transactions. Special emphasis will be placed on the contract issues that come up in day-to-day business so agents will be better equipped to serve buyers and sellers after instruction on what is contractually required, with a particular focus on changes which have occurred since the 2024 Settlement Agreement of seller anti-trust suits. ON DEMAND INFO On-demand classes are timed and adhere to the "seat-time" requirement set by the Minnesota Department of Commerce (DOC) for course approval. Continuing education credits can only be earned by attending the course in full, corresponding to the approved hours (MN Statute 45.30 Subd 4a). Courses are available 24/7, with brief downtime for updates and administration, until the stated expiration date. To complete the course, students must finish all modules, meet the learning objectives and activities, pass the final exam, and complete an end-of-course survey. The course must be finished before the expiration date noted in the student’s campus account––credit will not be awarded after the course loses its active/approved status.
