This course satisfies a requirement on the GRI Designation checklist. “New Home Construction Sales 101” is designed to introduce the student to the arena of new home construction sales and provide the basic knowledge platforms needed to begin incorporating new construction sales into their business plans as real estate agents. Content is targeted towards agents with limited or no experience representing buyers in a new construction sale or who have never represented a builder. The learning objectives are designed to take the fear out of recommending new construction homes to customers and clients. ON DEMAND INFO On-demand classes are timed and adhere to the "seat-time" requirement set by the Minnesota Department of Commerce (DOC) for course approval. Continuing education credits can only be earned by attending the course in full, corresponding to the approved hours (MN Statute 45.30 Subd 4a). Courses are available 24/7, with brief downtime for updates and administration, until the stated expiration date. To complete the course, students must finish all modules, meet the learning objectives and activities, pass the final exam, and complete an end-of-course survey. The course must be finished before the expiration date noted in the student’s campus account––credit will not be awarded after the course loses its active/approved status.
