DescriptionLocationInstructorsCancellation Policy Risk Management - Agents This course is designed to provide agents answers to frequently asked questions in the risk management area including insights into best practices for both issues that frequently arise in their practice and those that are unique, including compensation, disclosure, agency, and contractual issues. Both seller and licensee disclosure requirements will also be covered including material facts and exceptions to them, as well as other specific statutory and REALTOR® Code of Ethics disclosure requirements. **Please note: This class will be offered via the Zoom meeting platform, a live, virtual format. Class materials and access to the class with be available in your MNR Academy dashboard (www.academymnr.com). Video attendance is required. If you register and are unable to attend, we would appreciate it if you would let us know 48 hours in advance of the class, this way we have an opportunity to allow another student to attend since class size is limited. In this position she serves as in-house counsel for the Association and oversees risk management issues including the MNAR approved Forms, Buyer/Seller Arbitration, and will be overseeing the Association’s Professional Standards Program. Susan has been with the Minnesota Association of REALTORS® since 1995 with a four-year break from the Association to finish her law degree.Susan is a licensed attorney in Minnesota receiving her Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 2012 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Augsburg College in 1995.
